We are able to offer off site camping at a small cost to people who are happy to camp. The camping is available at the Australian Clay Target Asociation National Site in Tasman Road Wagga Wagga. (see the map below), It is approximately a 15 minute drive to the range and there are toilet and shower facilities available for your convenience.

The cost of camping is $7.00 per night for a non powered site and the minimum size of the allocated area is 10 metres by 10 metres (134 sites available)
There are 16 powered sites at $15.00 per night with a minimum size of 10 metres x 10 metres (16 sites available, these are first in best dressed)

There are a number of things that you need to read to make sure that you can abide by the rules that are required for you to camp at the Clay Targets Association Grounds. These are:

Terms and Conditions

  1. All bookings are to be made through the ACTA Office.
  2. All fees payable in advance refunds considered on an individual basis.
  3. Speed limit 10kph.
  4. No pets allowed.
  5. No responsibility is taken by ACTA for personal injury, damage to, or loss of property.
  6. Children under 16 years of age are to be accompanied by an adult to the amenities and playground, as well as supervised at all times.
  7. No visitors cars in the park, one car per site.
  8. No noise after 10pm.
  9. Garbage must be wrapped and deposited in bins provided.
  10. No cooking or washing of eating utensils to be done in the bathroom.
  11. The management is at liberty to terminate occupancy without notice or refund.

Code of Behaviour – Camping on National Ground

REQUIREMENTS

  • Whilst staying on the grounds belonging to the Australian Clay Target Association you will be required to abide by any rules and conditions set out. This will include behaviour, language and mutual consideration for other campers.
  • Non powered sites as states, does not permit any leads running over roadways only battery run generator will be allowed. There will be regular inspections of the camping grounds to ensure compliance is being met.
  • Powered sites allow for power cords to be plugged into the supplied power outlet and are not to be overloaded or doubled up with double adaptors for extra power cords. Only one power cord permitted per outlet.
  • Under no circumstances are pets allowed to stay on the grounds.

  • Non Compliance

  • Any person who does not adhere to the above requirements will be asked to leave the Ground.
  • Serious breaches will see the offender subjected to further investigation by the ACTA.

    'B' is the range for the 2010 WBHC

    The Camping grounds of the Australian Clay Target Association are at Tasman Rd, Wagga Wagga - Head south down Tasman Rd, they are located just after the Copland St intersection, which is about 17 kilometres from the Wagga Wagga Field Archers Range.
